Kanart First Edition Book: “Remember Your Life”

This 20-page book shows seven works of costume art as worn by Kanart, and also imaginatively by “other-worldly creatures.”

It was a long road to the completion of this book, six years in total. Costume creation began in 2015 and in 2016 the seven costumes and creatures had an exhibition at sendai mediatheque with the help and support of many people. Studio photography took place last year, and then design. Finally, this year I was able to print the book in America and realized my dream of traveling around the United States and Europe to share my art with the world.

Looking to the future, I’ve gotten many kind messages from around the world. I want to do exhibitions in many places and share Kanart’s work with as many people as possible.
